Train to Train + Train to Race

​

Here's where is starts to get real + even more fun. You'll get to train and race on the World Cup track at Lake Louise, race in the Western Canadian championships, and have the chance to qualify for U16 Nationals and International events.

Based out of Winsport, we spend every second Sunday in the mountains, doing skill drills or running gates in the am and finding all the best jumps, rails, trees, cliffs, and powder in the pm. 

​

In this 80+ day program, we train 4-5 days per week with optional xmas & spring training camps. Training involves a mix of gate training, technical free skiing, skill drills, video feedback, moguls, trees, cliffs, jumps, and anything else to fuel the love of skiing and keep you in the sport.

​

 Westside believes in academics first, so we focus on weeknight and weekend training and development. Our coaches strive to deliver a race program that keeps our athletes competitive while maintaining academic balance.

 

CWASC follows Alpine Canada Alpin's Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model for every age group.
